Some More Pampering!

I recently bought few things for Leo and thought of sharing the same with my readers. Checkout my haul for Leo.

Chewable tablets from Venttura which act as a feed supplement. They are advised for dogs in growing stages or with joint problems. Hip dysplasia is a common problem in Rottweilers, so our vet suggested we gave this to Leo during his growing years for stronger bones and joints.

Aptimust syrup for better functioning of Liver and to improve the appetite.

 Calcium supplements from DogSpot.

I received the tablets in almost powdered form ;) and they refunded half of the money for this.

Multivitamin supplement from DogSpot again.

A multivitamin syrup again!

That's all for now but I will be back with another haul pretty soon.

  1. You feed the best food around, yet get so many supplememts! I am shocked. Dear, when you feed a balanced packaged food, you don't add extra supplements and disbalance the ratio of calcium, phosphorus, minerals, or vitamins already present in the food. Not to mention too much of calcium is actually bad for large breed dogs.

    1. Hi,

      Thanks for visiting my blog.
Yes, you are right. Actually Leo had got hurt in one of his hind legs and there was slight damage. Hence, the vet had prescribed the calcium supplements for him for his recovery. We have now discontinued the same and that's right that excess calcium can cause more harm and than the benefit.
